BIOGRAPHY
Caryssa Beard is an award-winning American-born actress, singer, and producer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Caryssa's passion for the entertainment industry began at a young age with singing, dancing, and performing in her community, in addition to friends and family. This continued into her high school years, where she performed alongside her nationally ranked high school show choir team.
At the age of 15, Caryssa signed with her first modeling agency where she worked with companies like Bennington Pontoons, Southwestern Michigan College and FOX Network. Caryssa was soon cast as the lead in her first independent feature film at 19 years old which filmed in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Although Caryssa initially studied Theater & Drama at Indiana University South Bend, she eventually pursued Business Management, Psychology and Healthcare, temporarily stepping away from the entertainment world to focus on endeavors in the corporate world. At 26 years old, Caryssa started her first company Karis Alliance, an employment agency and executive search firm based out of Charlotte, NC. Current day, Caryssa is a consultant and trusted partner to organizations in Talent Acquisition and Retention, Leadership, Business Management and DE&I (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion). As a consultant, she is able to pursue her passions in the entertainment industry.
Caryssa's equally passionate and talented daughter, Allison Grace, is an 11-year-old actress and singer. This dynamic duo from Charlotte, NC is currently represented by Monarch Talent Agency | Atlanta & Southeast.
Caryssa is actively involved in projects spanning film, television, and commercial advertising.
In addition to her onscreen presence, Caryssa is the founder of Karis Productions, where she produces inspirational commercial, film and television content.
